At The Box we are OBSESSED with personal development. We tie the work we do in the gym with the work we do outside the gym. We promote non-fiction reading by having a book of the month. We end each class with meditation that correlates with our book of the month.
Personal development is important to us because it provides a chance to reflect on ourselves and to make positive changes that help improve our lives and make us more effective as individuals. It builds self-confidence and allows for exploration and experimentation in order to find out our true potential. Personal development encourages us to develop emotionally, intellectually, and spiritually, improving our mental and physical health, and allowing us to better manage stress, achieve our goals, and pursue our passions. After all, your mental & spiritual health are directly correlated to your physical health. Our program would be incomplete if we did not implement personal development.
