Hi there! I’m Aly Davis – wife, mom to two girls, tech leader, wellness promoter, and the proud owner of The Box! With over 15 years in the IT and finance industries, I’ve held roles in strategy and leadership, and I’m thrilled to bring all my passions together in this wellness-centered, community-driven gym.

As a CrossFit enthusiast and past competitor, I know firsthand the unique energy and camaraderie that thrives within a gym – especially one like The Box! From the thrill of deadlifting to the daily drive to push limits, fitness is my favorite way to connect and grow. To me, wellness isn’t just about physical fitness; it’s about creating a supportive, driven community where we lift each other up (and, of course, lift some heavy weights!) in every aspect of life, from personal goals to family and career.

My mission is to make The Box a welcoming space where everyone feels inspired on their wellness journey. Whether you’re a seasoned athlete or just starting out, let’s make this place the true heart of our community!

I am a proud mom of three and a CrossFit enthusiast with over a decade of experience in the sport. Coaching has been a huge part of my life for more than 8 years now, and I absolutely love it! There’s nothing more rewarding than helping others reach their fitness goals and discover what they are truly capable of. I have always been passionate about competing, and I thrive on the challenge of pushing myself to new levels.

Whether it’s hitting a new PR or competing at a local comp, l’m constantly looking for ways to improve and grow. I bring the same drive and excitement into my coaching, where I love seeing athletes – no matter their skill level – grow stronger and more confident. As a working mom, I know firsthand how tricky it can be to juggle life’s responsibilities while staying committed to fitness. That’s why I aim to make every class fun, positive, and motivating. My goal is to help you push past your limits, enjoy the journey, and celebrate your progress along the way!”.

Angie Shoel

Hi! My name is Angie and I’m a passionate health and fitness coach. I’m married to my best friend, we’ve got three amazing kids and two of the most perfect dogs. After struggling with my weight and health for years, I decided it was finally time for a permanent change and committed to myself that I was going to make that happen! After losing 70 pounds and discovering a love for weightlifting and proper nutrition, something sparked in me and I realized my mission is to help others navigate their own health and wellness journeys. I got a nutrition certification through Precision Nutrition and became certified as a personal trainer through NASM and for the last 5 years I’ve had the best job in the world- helping others reach their health and fitness goals!

Beyond the gym, I love reading, binge-watching reality TV, and delicious food. Whether I’m guiding a client through a new workout or creating a personalized nutrition plan, I really find fulfillment in those “lightbulb” moments when clients truly connect with their health journey. I can’t wait to help you with your nutrition and see you reach all of your health goals!

Jordan coaches 5:30 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays & 7:30 on Saturday! His fun-loving energy and jokes are everything we need in class. He’s been a member of the community since pretty much forever!

“I love coaching because I love motivating people to achieve things that they didn’t think possible or didn’t know how to accomplish on their own. Sometimes it is a massive realization that just puts someone on a path they didn’t see. Sometimes it’s a small queue that just clicks with someone and enables them to take another small step of progress. These are both experiences that I find incredibly rewarding and push me to be a better coach.”

Fave memory of the gym – “Working along side my wife and others to get the current space completed and ready to open”.

Fave lifts) – “Power Clean. Push press. Push Jerk. Either in a complex or on their own”.

“Also… I love just having fun with my classes. Keeping it light and enjoyable it’s more fun for everyone if they know the person there to motivate them enjoys having them in class and can lighthearted about it all”.
